Mask Guidelines

McGehee School District (Desha County) has been designated as (see website for current color on map) on the CDC COVID-19 Community Level by County.

Recommendation:

A designation of GREEN on this map would result in mask wearing being OPTIONAL. A designation of YELLOW or ORANGE will result in mask wearing to being HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

-The Superintendent in consultation with the School Board may re-implement a face covering requirement based on an increase in positivity and/or quarantine rates.

• COVID-19 Community Levels are a new tool to help communities decide what prevention steps to take based on the latest data. Levels can be low, medium, or high and are determined by looking at hospital beds being used, hospital admissions, and the total number of new COVID-19 cases in an area.
