Dyslexia Intervention Programs & the Number of Students Served in these Programs

Act 1039 of 2017 Reporting By the School District (Ark. Code Ann. § 6-41-606 (b)) 

2022-2023

During the 2022-2023 school year, the McGehee School District used Take Flight in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia. 

 

During the 2022-2023 school year, 41 students attending McGehee Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist. 

 

During the 2022-2023 school year, 41 students attending McGehee Public School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia. 


2021-2022

During the 2021-2022 school year, the McGehee School District used Take Flight, Structures, and the Barton Reading and Spelling System in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia. 


During the 2021-2022 school year, 34 students attending McGehee Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist. 


During the 2021-2022 school year, 34 students attending McGehee Public School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia

2020-2021

During the 2020-2021 school year, the McGehee School District used Take Flight and the Barton Reading and Spelling System in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia. 


During the 2020-2021 school year, 26 students attending McGehee Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist. 


During the 2020-2021 school year, 30 students attending McGehee Public School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia
